I have just completed my latest project for the Network of Clinical Psychologists in Independent Practice or NCPIP. This website was built using the Joomla content management platform and includes interactive functionality such as a members discussion forum, clinical psychologist directory with a postcode search and an updateable training events calendar.
The website provides a platform for clinical psychologists to promote their practice by submitting listings into the directory, it also provides access to information such as training events, forum discussions and work opportunities.
The content management system web design enables my client to have full control over the website content including the ability to manage memberships, moderate forum posts and edit news/blog posts.
In terms of website design, I tried to go for a clean and easily navigable layout, which hopefully lends itself well to the advanced functionality of the website. I wanted the site to look contemporary and sleek but maintain the traditional design structure that directory/forum websites successfully employ.
My client was nice enough to give me the following feedback:
“I have been delighted with the site that Dave created for me. He offers a very professional, friendly and flexible service and he has been a pleasure to work with. I was particularly impressed by how available and accommodating he has been and also by his ability to clearly explain and simplify things for me. He has a very good idea for sleek contemporary design and I have received lots of positive feedback about the style of the site he created. I would recommend DCC Design to anyone.”
